Memorial park in #wharton #nj #newjersey this #ww2 memorial is on the other side of the park from the ww1 memorial. I particularly liked the backdrop of the relatively large grand home behind the park. The park has a 37mm antitank gun which are very common surplus weapons seen in many towns. One reason is because the 37mm really was not effective against German armor in WW2. Interestingly one can note the ‘Grade A’ scratched out of the sign. Done because he no longer sold Grade A milk.
